Medford Kiwanis Donate To Lawrence Memorial Hospital

The money will be used to support caregiver education, renovations and other community health initiatives.

MEDFORD, MA – The Medford Kiwanis Club recently awarded Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford $2,000 to support caregiver education, capital equipment, renovations and other community health initiatives, MelroseWakefield Healthcare said in a statement.

The Kiwanis Club is a civic organization dedicated to serving the children of the world. Its family of clubs, which includes Circle K International for university students, Key Club for high school students, Builders Club for middle school students, Kiwanis Kids for elementary school students and Aktion Club for adults living with disabilities, annually dedicate more than 18 million hours and raise more than $100 million to strengthen communities and serve children.

The Medford Kiwanis Club supports Project Triangle, the Medford public schools, the Medford Senior Center and the West Medford Community Center and offers scholarships for local students through a number of fundraising activities like the Jail Day 5K run/walk, Fight Night and the Taste of Italy.
