Medford Man Sentenced to Prison for Repeatedly Beating Dog
Ryan Baker of Medford pleaded guilty to three counts of animal abuse.

A Medford resident was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of animal abuse Wednesday.
A neighbor of Ryan Baker, the defendant, informed Medford Police regarding the repeated abuse.
Police say the neighbor possessed video evidence of Baker beating his dog.

In addition to ordered jail time, Baker will have to serve two years of probation and enter a drug treatment program. He’ll also have to successfully complete animal abuse prevention course.
