Medford Man Wins $1M Mass. Lottery

MEDFORD, MA – A Medford man recently won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery's "Fastest Road to $1 Million" instant ticket game. Nicholas Rocco elected to receive a one-time payment of $650,000.

Rocco bought his winning ticket at Wilmington Nouria, 586 Main St. in Wilmington. The store also sold one of two MegaMillions tickets worth $1 million in Tuesday night's drawing. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for each ticket.

There are 98 remaining $1 million instant prizes in the "Fastest Road to $1 Million" $30 instant game. The game has second chance drawing opportunities to win up to $1 million, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.
