Medford Mayor Addresses High School Inclusion Class
Mayor Burke spoke to the Diversity and Community Enrichment class about her role in the community.

MEDFORD, MA – Medford Mayor Stephanie Burke addressed students in Medford High School's Diversity and Community Enrichment class, a brand new program focused on improving the climate in culture at school and in the community as a whole.
As part of the curriculum developed by teacher Michael Skorker, members of the community are invited to come and speak to students on relevant community issues. Mayor Burke explained her role in the community, and, along with other leaders, offered to work with the students in some capacity to promote diversity and enrichment within Medford.
The class requires students complete a project that promotes diversity, acceptance and equality; they will choose a project to pursue after being introduced to an eclectic group of speakers.
