Medford Native Bringing Gym To Salem Street

MEDFORD, MA – Fitness fans lamenting the loss of MG Fitness will soon get their fix. Medford native Steve Stabile is opening a Blink Fitness in the space left vacant by MG Fitness, which closed last month, according to medfordtop10.com. The gym is set to open in the fall.

The plaza will also be home to a Target, which is slated to open in July. The retail chain has renovated the complex ahead of its opening in the former Stop & Shop location.

Stabile told medfordtop10 the building will feature new floors, locker rooms and fitness equipment and improved heating and air conditioning systems.

The Blink Fitness website says a location is coming soon to 465 Salem St.
