Medford Panda Express Opening Date Announced

MEDFORD, MA – Chinese food chain Panda Express will open its newest location in Medford this month. The restaurant will open at 491 Riverside Ave. on Friday, July 13 at 10:30 a.m. and donate a portion of its opening day profits to the Malden YMCA.

"We’re excited to introduce our American Chinese comfort food to even more guests as we continue to expand on the East Coast," Cristina Barajas Herandez, area coach of operations for Panda Express, said in a statement. "Our associates feel honored to bring our signature service and people-first culture to the wonderful people of Medford."

The restaurant will employ 20 people and offer dine-in services from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily. Its menu includes signature American-Chinese dishes like Original Orange Chicken, SweetFire Chicken Breast, Honey Walnut Shrimp and Shanghai Angus Steak.

Guests at the Medford location will also have the opportunity to try the chain's limited-time menu offering, Wok-Seared Steak and Shrimp. The dish combines Angus top sirloin shrimp and steak and will be on the menu through Aug. 2.

Panda Express says it plans to pursue additional fundraising opportunities to benefit the Medford community.
