Medford Patriots' Day 2018 Celebration Guide

Here's what to know about the city's annual celebration on April 16.

MEDFORD, MA – The city of Medford will hold its annual Patriots' Day event Monday, April 16. The celebration will begin at 9:45 a.m. at the Medford Public Library to recognize those from Medford who fought in the Battle of Menotomy during the Revolutionary War.

The ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the Old Salem Street Burial Ground, followed by a march to Gaffey Funeral Home to await the arrival of Paul Revere.

There will be food from Salvatore's Restaurant, Boston Creme doughnuts from Dunkin' Donuts and Donuts with a Difference, water from Accardi Foods, music by the Occasional Brass & Strings Group, face painting and balloon animals.
