Medford Police Department Releases Roster, Salary Data

MEDFORD, MA — Police Chief Jack Buckley released a letter Friday responding to a request for information about policing in Medford from the community group Mobilize Medford. Buckley said in the 18 months he has been chief, the department has "made strides" to improve diversity and improve training, particularly in the areas of implicit bias, crisis intervention, deescalation and procedural justice.

The Medford Police Department consists of 99 police officers, five civilian employees, 13 public safety dispatchers, 28 traffic supervisors and nine police matrons who are hired on a per-diem basis.
