Medford resident celebrates 30 years at Boston Dealership

Celebrations are in order for Medford resident, Mike Gillis, as he enters his 30th year at Village Automotive Group’s Boston Volvo, the largest and oldest Volvo dealer in New England and one of the leading Volvo dealers in the nation. Beginning in the summer of 1988, Gillis quickly moved up the ranks and is now serving as Assistant Parts Manager under the supervision of Parts Manager Peter Vincent.

“Mike’s contagious smile, great attitude and willingness to always help out has made him an integral part of Boston Volvo for the past 30 years,” said Ray Ciccolo, President and Founder of Village Automotive Group.

Gillis has seen much over the years, including the most recent transition into the new Volvo headquarters and dealership that recently opened adjacent to the Boston Volvo Allston location. Boston Volvo was awarded the 2015 Volvo Cars of North America Retailer of Excellence Award.
