Medford Resident Survey on Solar Energy
City considering applying for a program that could bring solar options to residents.

Medford's Energy and Environment office is conducting a survey of residents through this Tuesday as they consider applying for a program that could bring solar energy options to homeowners.
Alicia Hunt, city energy efficiency coordinator, said the Solarize Massachusetts Program "would enable us to provide educational seminars on solar, have staff & volunteer representatives answer residential questions, and negotiate pricing for residential solar."
Hunt said they would also be able to use "group buying power" to possibly lower the cost for residents.
