Medford Restaurant Opening Wednesday In Former Emiliano'z Space

The Boston Avenue Mexican restaurant closed in December after nearly 10 years.

MEDFORD, MA – Weeks after Emiliano'z Mexican Grill announced it would close after nearly 10 years on Boston Avenue, a new restaurant started moving in. That eatery, Pikaichi, is set to open Wednesday, April 18. The ramen shop closed its Allston location late last year amid rising rents and relocated to 123 Boston Ave.

The Allston favorite serves three different styles of ramen, rice bowls and curry dishes. Diehard fans have been eagerly awaiting its return and celebrated the January Facebook announcement.

Emiliano'z Mexican Grill opened in 2008 in the former Giuseppi's Kitchen space, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. Its menu included Mexican fare such as burritos, enchiladas and tacos, as well as beer, wine and sangria.
