Medford Restaurant Sold Months After Opening

The eatery is changing hands after a quick tenure on High Street.

MEDFORD, MA – A High Street restaurant has been sold just months after opening. Chimichurri's Mexican Taqueria opened in mid-June in the former Depot Square Grille space, but is changing hands due to a family health matter.

The new owners will be the Zamora family of Braintree, according to Daniel Surian, who helps his son, Chris, run Chimichurri's. In an email to Patch, Surian wrote that the hours and menu will remain the same.

Zamora, a native of Mexico, will "bring with him an array of ideas, new dishes and improved flavor," Surian wrote.
