MEDFORD, MA — With April vacation less than a week away and summer vacation looming large, there are several important dates to mark on the calendar before the end of the school year in June. Here are five things to know for the remainder of the school year. A full day-by-day calendar of events is available here.

  1. April 15-19: Spring Recess, including Patriots' Day and Good Friday
  2. May 15: Early release day, middle and high schools
  3. May 27: Memorial Day
  4. June 12: Early release day, middle and high schools. Three more early release days will be scheduled in June.
  5. June 24: Last scheduled day of school, includes 7 snow days
