Medford Schools Get Nifty Award

Medford High and Medford Tech's Department of Biotechnology and Environmental Science received an award of Honorable Mention from the Green New England Challenge.

The award recognizes of the Aquaponics/Hydroponics system for raising edible plants and fish. With the award comes an invitation to the award ceremony at the State House on May 19.

"Mr. Charles Saulnier, Mr. Norman Rousseau, and the students are very grateful for the support of everyone in the MHS/MTHS community for their continued support of this project," Medford Public Schools said. "They also wish to extend their thanks and gratitude to the Medford Education Foundation for their generous grant support which helped make this project possible. Congratulations to all!"
