Medford ZBA To Hear 5 Cases Next Week

MEDFORD, MA – The Medford Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on five cases on Monday, June 11. The hearing will begin at 7 p.m. in Room 201 of Medford City Hall, 85 George P. Hassett Dr.

The following cases will be brought forward:

285 Fellsway West – Continued from April 30, 2018

Applicant and owner, Edmond Ammouri is petitioning for a finding from the Chapter 94 - City of Medford Zoning Ordinance to raise a section of the roof at a pre-existing non-conforming structure and use, currently being occupied as a gas service station.

25 Vine Street

Applicants and owners, Charles and Megan Hagan are petitioning for a variance from the Chapter 94 - City of Medford Zoning Ordinance to maintain an existing second-floor dwelling, and thereby convert an existing non-conforming single-family dwelling to a two-family dwelling.

53 Playstead Road

Applicant and owner, Nicholas R. Sacca III is petitioning for a variance from the Chapter 94 - City of Medford Zoning Ordinance to construct two (2) shed dormers in the attic of an existing non-conforming two-family dwelling, thereby creating a third floor.

40 Tyler Avenue

Applicant and owner, Brian Lever is petitioning for a variance from the Chapter 94 - City of Medford Zoning Ordinance to construct dormers in the attic of an existing non-conforming two-family dwelling, thereby creating a full third floor.

252 Main Street

Applicant and owner, Fred Torossian is filing a remanded application for a finding due to a dimensional nonconformity as to width and a finding or special permit for a proposed parking area on the property.
