Medford's Fall Street Sweeping Schedule

MEDFORD, MA – Medford will begin its fall "Big Sweep" November 9 and conduct street sweeping throughout the month until December 6.

During sweeping, parking will be allowed on major arteries, but there will be no parking on the designated side street between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the risk of ticketing or towing. Cars may return once sweeping has been completed.

Medford asks that residents do not push leaves into the street; leaf pickup and yard waste dates are scheduled for Nov. 7, Nov. 21 and Dec. 5. For more information on waste removal, refer to the trash/recycling guide or contact Waste Management with questions.

Here's a look at the Medford street sweeping schedule:

Zone 6 – Wednesday, November 9th
Zone 7 – Thursday, November 10th
Zone 8 – Monday, November 14th
Zone 9 – Tuesday, November 15th
Zone 3 – Wednesday, November 16th
Zone 4 – Thursday, November 17th
Zone 5 – Friday, November 18th
Zone 10 – Monday, November 21st
Zone 10 – Tuesday, November 22nd
Zone 1 – Monday, November 28th
Zone 2 – Tuesday, November 29th
Zone 11 – Thursday, December 1st
Zone 12 – Friday, December 2nd
Zone 13 – Monday, December 5th
Zone 14 – Tuesday, December 6th`

Please note Zone 10 will be split into two sections.

Monday, November 21st – Woburn to Winthrop and High St. to Playstead, and all streets within these boundaries.

Tuesday, November 22nd – Woburn to High St. and Woburn St. to Playstead, and all streets within these boundaries.
