Medford's Jingle Bell 5K: Traffic Disruptions, Registration

Medford's Jingle Bell 5K Walk and Run will take place Saturday morning.

Runners can pick up their bibs and shirts at the American Legion Hall from 6 - 7 p.m. Friday night. Runners can also register Friday night.

There will be traffic disruptions from about 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., police said: Portions of Winthrop Street will be closed. Northbound traffic will be diverted at the Winthrop Rotary onto High Street. Southbound traffic will be diverted onto Playstead Road. There will be no access to Winthrop Street from any side streets along the route except Playstead Road.

All race proceeds go to Medford schools. The race is sponsored by Lonergan Insurance & Real Estate and Members Plus Credit Union.
