In this course Kurukulla Center Director, Sean González, will introduce you to the basics of a Buddhist meditation practice. Among the class topics will be the importance of meditation in daily life, proper meditative posture, creating a meditation practice, and the introduction of several meditations to begin your practice.
No prior knowledge of Buddhism or meditation is required for this course, however, those with experience are also encouraged to attend. We ask that upon entering the building you remove your shoes, so don't forget warm socks if it is chilly. Cushions will be provided, but feel free to bring your own props if you prefer. A light shawl or blanket can be helpful to regulate temperature.

The course is presented over a series of five Mondays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Note that you can join in any time.
Sean González, the Kurukulla Center Director, became a student of the late Geshe Tsulga in 2004.
