Modern Pastry Expands in North End
The 70-year-old pastry shop took over a space next door.
Modern Pastry, the long-standing pastry shop known for its cannolis, just opened its new storefront in Boston’s North End, according to Eater Boston.
The new, larger shop is at the former Piccola Venezia space next to the original Modern Pastry, which will continue to operate at 257 Hanover St.
Modern Pastry also has a shop in Medford Square, at 20 Salem St.
