Mustang Hall Of Fame Adds 2 Categories, Opens 2020 Nominations

MEDFORD, MA — The Medford High School Mustang Hall of Fame Board of Directors recently announced it has added two new categories for induction – Distinguished Alum and Team. The Board is also seeking nominations for the 2020 class.

Distinguished Alum: An MHS alum will be considered for induction as a Distinguished Alum if she or he has demonstrated outstanding achievement in athletics or a sports-related field that brings positive recognition to the MHS athletic program.

Team: A team will be considered for induction if the team demonstrated outstanding accomplishments and significant recognition.

That brings the number of categories for induction into the Mustang Hall of Fame to five: athlete, coach, community service, distinguished alum and team.

How to Nominate

Anyone can nominate candidates. A HoF Board member will help with completion of the nomination. To start the process, complete and submit the form on the Hall of Fame web site http://www.mustanghalloffame.com/nomination-form/ or contact Megan Richard at mustanghalloffame@gmail.com. ALL NOMINATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY JUNE 30, 2020, TO BE CONSIDERED FOR INDUCTION TO THE MUSTANG HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2020.

Induction Ceremony November 22, 2020

The 2020 Induction Ceremony and Banquet will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at the Irish-American Hall in Malden, MA.
