New England's Only Real Kobe Beef Will Be At Encore Boston Harbor

EVERETT, MA – A steakhouse at Encore Boston Harbor will soon be the only restaurant in New England serving genuine Kobe beef. The appropriately named Rare Steakhouse, which Boston Magazine calls a "cousin" of SW Steakhouse at Wynn Las Vegas, will feature a number of unique cuts.

Among them is Kobe beef, which is currently non-existent in the region's restaurant scene, the publication reported, citing records from the Kobe Beef Marketing and Distribution Promotion Association.

In addition to rare offerings, the steakhouse will have a number of local seafood dishes, wines and whiskeys. Rare Steakhouse is set to open with Encore Boston Harbor in June.
