
Cynthia M. (Parshley) Biswanger, 90, formerly of Pacific Avenue, Leominster and Medford, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at Health Alliance – Leominster Hospital.
Her husband, Albert W. Biswanger, died in August 1963.
Mrs. Biswanger was born in Boston, July 31, 1923, the daughter of Frank and Maud (Gardner) Parshley and grew up in South Boston. She resided in Medford for many years before moving to this area eight years ago. She was a 1941 graduate of South Boston High School and in 1944 graduated from the Chelsea Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.

She leaves her daughter, Carol A. Seidlich of Westminster; three sons, William F. Biswanger of Townsend, Robert P. Biswanger of Wilmington and Kenneth M. Biswanger of Gardner. She also leaves 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother, F. Gardner Parshley of California and her dear friend of over 70 years, Ethel Reilly of Lynnfield who died in 2011.

For over 40 years, Mrs. Biswanger held the position of Director of Nurses in the City of Medford, retiring in 1988.
She attended Christ Church in Fitchburg, was a member of the Leominster Red Hat Society and Leominster Senior Citizens. She enjoyed playing bridge at the Leominster Senior Center and Whist at Our Lady of theLake Church. She was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
Arrangements
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Christ Church 569 Main St., Fitchburg. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
