Obituary: Linda 'Lady Linda' Mahoney, 67, of Medford

Linda M. “Lady Linda” Mahoney, 67, of Medford, died Friday, Aug. 22, after a long illness at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston.

Born and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Marion (Frasca) and William Pollard. Linda was a Tax Examiner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for seven years.

Beloved wife of Lawrence Mahoney. Devoted mother of Lawrence W. Mahoney of Mendon, Valerie Valliant and her husband Mark of Derry, New Hampshire, Stephanie O’Connor and her husband Patrick of Beverly and Billie-Marie Mahoney of Medford. Loving grandmother of Daniel, Jake, Sarah, Arthur, Brendan, Makenna and Delanie. Sister of the late Valerie Pollard.

A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
