Obituary: Madeline Dilworth, 87, of Medford

Dilworth died Tuesday, Nov. 25.

Madeline Dilworth, 87, of Medford, died Tuesday after a long illness in the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center, Revere.

Born in Cambridge, she had resided in Medford for the past 65 years and was the daughter of the late Lucy (Lopez) and Manuel Pacheco.

Beloved wife of the late John J. Dilworth Sr. Devoted mother of Kathleen Mariano and her husband Paul of Dunstable, Joseph Dilworth, Carol Duffy, both of Medford, and the late John J. Dilworth Jr. and Steven G. Dilworth. Also survived by five loving grandchildren and four loving great grandchildren. Sister of the late Dorothy Fullerton and Donald Pacheco.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Madeline’s name to the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center, C/O Beacon Unit, 204 Proctor Ave., Revere, MA 02151.
