Obituary: Margaret O'Brien, Formerly of Medford

Margaret M. (Murphy) O’Brien, 61, of Lowell, formerly of Medford, died Monday, Dec. 8.

Beloved daughter of the late Jeremiah and Helen (Trainor) Murphy. Mother of Sean O’Brien and his wife Sarah of North Carolina, Michael O’Brien and his wife Jill of Billerica and Colleen Chapman and her husband Wiley of Tennessee. Grandmother of Maeve, Aislinn, Declan, Kellan, Patrick, Abby, Sean and Emily. Sister of Mary Griffin of North Billerica, Kathleen Corcoran of Billerica, Hugh Murphy of Medford, Jeremiah Murphy of Stoneham and the late Geraldine Longo and Helen Sousa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

At the request of her family, services and interment were held privately.
