Obituary: Margaret 'Peggy' Ferrante, Lifelong Medford Resident

Margaret “Peggy” (O’Connell) Ferrante, of Medford, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, after a brief illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford. She was a lifelong resident of Medford and the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Covert) and Michael J. O’Connell.

Beloved wife of Anthony Ferrante. Sister of Mary McGowan of Framingham and the late William, Joseph, Francis and John O’Connell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Saturday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 10-11 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent in Margaret’s name to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
