Obituary: Margaret 'Peggy' Taylor, of Medford
Taylor was a volunteer at the Medford Senior Center and a member of the Medford Council on Aging.

Margaret M. “Peggy” (Byrne) Taylor, of Medford, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014.
Beloved wife of Richard Taylor. Loving mother of Michael and his wife Mary Ann, Robert and his wife Diane of Weymouth, Brian and his wife Mary Beth of Framingham, and Gary and his wife Wendy of Virginia. Dear grandmother of Thomas and his wife Erin, Kevin, Theresa, Jessica, Brian and Christina Taylor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway, Powder House Square, Somerville, Saturday morning, 9:30-11:30 a.m. immediately followed by a funeral home service at 11:30 a.m. Interment is private.
Peggy was a volunteer at Medford Senior Center where she was named Volunteer of the Year in 2013. She was also a member of Medford Council on Aging. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Medford Senior Center, 101 Riverside Ave., Medford, MA 02155.
