OBITUARY: Russell J. Colombo, 39, Medford High School Graduate

MEDFORD, MA — Russell J. Colombo passed away at home on Friday, December 9, 2016. He was 39. Raised in Brockton and Medford, he graduated from Medford High School. He owned and managed several sober houses in the Boston area.

He was the beloved son of Salvatore J. Colombo and his wife Doreen of Medford and Therese M. Colombo and her husband Thomas Talbot of West Bridgewater. He was a devoted brother to Janine Doran and her husband David of Easton and a dear step-brother to Tracey Allen, Richard Landano and Kristi Landano. He was a loving uncle to Heather and Dominic Doran and the cherished grandson of Marie G. Treggiari.

His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. in Medford on Wednesday, December 14 at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West in Medford, at 10 AM.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home, Tuesday 4 – 8 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Russell’s name to the Samaritans, 41 West St. 4th fl., Boston, MA 02111.
