Obituary: Sandra L. Cuthbert, 64, Physical Education and Health Teacher For Over 30 Years in Medford Schools
Avid tennis player who coached high school tennis and volleyball in Medford for many years.

Sandra L. Cuthbert, 64, passed away, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a long illness.
Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of Alice (Gill) Cuthbert of Beverly and the late John Cuthbert. She was raised in Somerville and Medford and earned her degree from the University of Massachusetts in Boston.
Ms. Cuthbert had been employed for over thirty years as a Physical Education and Health teacher in the Medford Public School system. At the time of her retirement in 2012 she was teaching at the Andrews Middle School.

A resident of Beverly since 1985, she enjoyed living on the North Shore and visiting Brackenbury Beach in Beverly as often as she could. She was an avid tennis player who coached High School tennis and volleyball in Medford for many years. She was also a loyal Red Sox and Patriots fan. Sandra was a loving daughter and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her best friends, Elaine Crofts of Beverly and Matt and Robin Judge of Marshfield and a brother, Scott Cuthbert of Winthrop.

Funeral services will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 5 - 7 p.m. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Make A Wish Foundation, One Bulfinch Place, 2nd FL, Boston, MA 02114 or the Shriners Burns Institute, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
