Obituary: Vincent Penta, Longtime Medford Resident

Vincent Penta, of Belmont, died Monday, Dec. 15, in the Belmont Manor Nursing Home.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Crescio) Penta. Vincent proudly served in the U.S. Navy and as a Lieutenant on the MDC police force. He was a longtime Medford resident.

Vincent was the beloved husband of the late Marie (Zizza) Penta and the devoted father of Marisa Coughlin of North Chelmsford, Gregg and Christopher Penta, both of Medford. He was the loving grandfather of Brianna and Brooke Coughlin, brother of Robert Penta of Medford and brother-in-law of Dolores Zizza and Elayne Scarcella, both of Canton.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Monday, Dec. 22 at 8:45 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9:45 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday, 4-8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
