Photo Gallery: Medford Baseball Squeaks Past Stoneham

The Medford High baseball team beat visiting Stoneham, 4-3, on Wednesday.

Medford pitcher Danny Gilchrist pitched two innings of relief to pick up his seventh win of the season as the Mustangs beat Medford, 4-3, at Playsted Park on Wednesday. 

Medford starter Andrew Ferrazzani went 5 2/3 innings allowing six hits, two runs, one earned and five strikeouts. Gilchrist went two innings and struck out four for the win. 

At the plate, Gilchrist went 2-for-4 with an RBI while Pat Duffy went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored and Tommy Flores went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. Chris Salvati finished 2-for-5 and now leads the Mustangd with 28 hits and a .500 average.
