Plowing Courtesies

OK. I get it that the main arteries need to be plowed. 
Being on Winthrop Street, I have had plows come up the street at a high rate of speed - and throw more than enough snow/ slush back onto the sidewalk that I just cleared. It would have frozen like concrete had I not removed it (again). If they just went a little slower, the snow could have been in a hump by the side of the road - mostly on the sidewalk - and manageable for me to clear so pedestrians could get by - safely... Not to mention the local plow guys placing snow right on the corner - where I already cleared for handicap access.
