If you see a brrraannnddd neewww ccaarrr around town - a 2017 Maserati Ghibli to be exact - you know who it likely belongs to.

MEDFORD, MA – Everyone who has ever watched the Price is Right feel like they can be the winner of a newwwwww carrrrrr! The hard part is just getting down to the studio and being picked. In fact, one Medford woman proved that was all she needed.

Danielle Byers-Anderson, a lifelong Medford resident and Medford High graduate, got herself down to the gameshow room, got slapped with a big yellow price tag with her name on it, and was called down as a contestant by the big voice in the sky. (Subscribe to Medford Patch for more local news)

"I just always remember watching it as a kid," Byers-Anderson told Patch over the phone. "Thinking I had the right prices on that and thinking, 'I could so do this show, I could so do this show.'"

She didn't do too bad. Byers-Anderson, on an episode which aired May 18, had to guess the price on an iPad pro ($850 was the winning guess) and moved on to the next phase. She then won a game that had something to do with the prices of strawberry Pop Tarts and shampoo, meaning she not only got the iPad pro, but also the grand prize of a 2017 Maserati Ghibli, worth more than $70,000. So if you see one of those around town, you have an idea of who it may belong to.

"It's surreal," Byers-Anderson said about getting called down. "I still can't believe it. I almost don't have any words it happened so fast and so incredibly. I think I sort of froze and my husband grabbed me around the waist."

The couple had a vacation to California planned. The show was just one day after their anniversary, so they printed out the tickets went in.

And that "Wicked Smaht" shirt she was rocking? That was an idea her and some friends thought of during a dinner. Seems like it was wicked good luck.

You can watch the full episode here. Byers-Anderson gets called down at roughly the 5-minute mark.
