Balance your body, speech/spirit, and mind holistically with loving kindness and compassion with Reiki.
Long-time dharma student and member, Pat Venter, will begin a new cycle of Reiki courses on Saturday, December 3, 2016

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) an ancient hands-on healing art that originated from the east, is a universal life force that transcends time and space. This class is filled with teaching, sharing, reflections, and learning about how to effectively use simple methods to assist in healing self, others, animals, and the planet. We will explore our interconnectedness with the Reiki energy (chi) and tap into that source with attunement, symbols, and meditation.

It is important to note that Reiki is not a religion. Reiki's function is to help balance the energy levels of one's being holistically with the goal of enhancing wellness. The approach is to connect with the component of the human spirit that wants happiness and to let go of things that cause pain and suffering. Reiki is considered a complementary healing system.

Requirement: Must attend both days. (Participants will receive a certificate)

Demonstrations and practices will apply. It is helpful, but not required, to bring a stuffed animal to class. A light lunch will be provided on Saturday and snacks on Sunday
