Thieves Stealing Honda Accord Airbags In Medford: Police

MEDFORD, MA – Police are warning local Honda Accord owners about a rash of car break-ins targeting their airbags. The thieves typically break a window and remove the safety airbag from the driver's side, passenger side or both, police said.

The break-ins happened at night in various parts of the city. Authorities said they do not know how the cars are chosen.

Accord owners are urged to be vigilant. Anyone with information is asked to call 781-395-1212 or 911 if the crime is in progress.
