Tufts Students Hosting Week Of Events For Indigenous Peoples Day
The school is eschewing Columbus Day to recognize those who were here before Christopher Columbus.

MEDFORD, MA – Columbus Day is no more at Tufts University, where students are instead observing Indigenous Peoples' Day with events throughout the week recognizing those who were here before Christopher Columbus.
The events kick off Monday with an Indigenous Peoples Day celebration from 4-7 p.m. on the Academic Quad.
