Urbelis Law Supports MGH Heroes and Avellinos During Pandemic
Attorney Benjamin Urbelis Delivers 100 Pizzas to MGH Nurses and Staff
Attorney Benjamin Urbelis is honoring healthcare workers while supporting a popular Medford restaurant hard hit during the COVID-19 pandemic. Urbelis purchased 100 pizzas from Avellino’s and had them delivered to the nurses, doctors and staff at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Urbelis is founder and managing attorney at Urbelis Law in Boston.
In Medford and all across the nation, the coronavirus has hit small businesses especially hard, forcing many to close their doors due to the nationwide stay-at-home advisory. Urbelis wanted to take the opportunity to let the healthcare workers know how much they are appreciated while also doing his part to help a local restaurant struggling to stay in business during this time.
“Healthcare workers are putting themselves and their own families at risk to keep the rest of us safe,” said Urbelis. “This donation is a way to show support for these heroes while also helping a great family-run restaurant, Avellino’s, which is an important part of the Medford community as well.”
The pizzas were delivered from Avellino’s to Mass General Hospital in Boston and were divided among healthcare staff, giving them a much-needed lift during a difficult time. Mass General is one of the leaders in the fight against the coronavirus. “We are fortunate because Boston has the best hospitals and healthcare workers anywhere in the world, and we have to do what we can to support these heroes in this time of crisis,” said Urbelis.
