Wynn to Hold Career Fairs for Casino Job Opportunities

Wynn Boston Harbor will hold seven career fairs in the coming weeks for residents to learn about employment opportunities during construction of the $2.1 billion resort and casino.

Representatives from local trade unions and subcontractors will be available to answer questions and connect potential applicants with fitting job openings.

"Wynn Boston Harbor will be a vibrant part of our local communities, so it’s only appropriate that it be built by residents who live in these communities," said Robert DeSalvio, president of Wynn Boston Harbor, in an announcement. "With 10 million labor hours needed to build the resort, there are a variety of union construction jobs available to fit all levels of experience and skills. We particularly encourage local women, veteran and minority job seekers to attend as subcontractors staff up to fill our project’s 4,000 construction jobs."

Wynn's Building Trades Career Fairs will be held in Everett and its surrounding communities, including Medford, Malden, Cambridge, Roxbury, Chelsea and Charlestown.
