Tufts partners with Partakers to pair community mentors men and women earning college degrees while incarcerated. Partakers mission is to provide the support students need to succeed in college and beyond prison.

The US has the highest incarceration rates in the world and spends $80 billion annually on prisons, only to see he majority of people return. Education is the single strongest factor in reducing recidivism and predicting success.
