Civil War expert David Smith will be at the Book Oasis on Thursday, March 22 to talk about the roles of Masschusetts and Stoneham in the American Civil War. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. Our event will tie in with the re-dedication of the Jacob Gould memorial at Lindenwood Cemetery on Memorial Day (this will happen but may be delayed if the headstone doesn't arrive in time). Gould was a Civil War verteran from Stoneham. Bring your questions!
