ICYMI: Wounded Veterans Bike Ride to Pass Through Melrose

The organizers are expecting 7,000 motorcycle riders in honor of wounded veterans.

MELROSE, MA—If you see a wave of motorcycle riders passing through Melrose Saturday, don't fear.

According to the City of Melrose Website, The Wounded Vet Bike Run motorcycle ride is scheduled to pass through Melrose on May 14. The riders are expecting to enter Melrose on Washington St. at about 12:45, and will travel north to the Fellsway East and the Lynn Fells Parkway before turning left on to Main St. towards Wakefield.

The organizers are expecting 7,000 motorcycles riding in honor of wounded veterans. The event began in 2011, inspired by Cpl. Vincent Mannion Brodeur, who received a bronze star and purple heart while serving in Iraq in 2007.
