Melrose Dog Licenses: Avoid Late Fees, Renew Fido's License Today!

MELROSE, MA—The time to renew Fido's dog license is now, unless you enjoy paying late fees.

The renewals grace period for Dog Licenses expires Tuesday, and residents are subject to a $15 late fee if their dogs are not registered. Residents can mail or bring $20 for neutered pets and $23 for unneutered pets and a current rabies certificate to the City Clerk's office.

Those without copies of a rabies certificate can contact their vet and have them fax it to the City Clerk's office at 781-979-7696.

Residents with dogs not licensed by Tuesday, March 15 are subject to a $15 late fee to the owners, unless your furry friend has a growing 401k he hasn't told you about!
