Melrose Grand Jury Indictments Announced

MELROSE, MA - Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan has announced Grand Jury indictments handed down between Aug. 2 and Aug. 30. Two cases with Melrose ties were announced.

Melrose
John Maldonado, 25, of Boston, was charged with kidnapping, aggravated burglary, assault and battery on a household or family member (2 counts), breaking and entering, stalking, possession of burglarious tools, witness intimidation (4 counts), violating a restraining order (6 counts), and threatening to commit a crime (2 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Carrie Spiros.

Billerica
Darian Almonte, 19, of Melrose, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery (2 counts). The Assistant District Attorney is Maren Schrader.
