Melrose Home For The Holidays, Christmas Tree Lighting 2017
This weekend is absolutely loaded with holiday festivities for the whole family.

MELROSE, MA — It's that time of year again when the Melrose Chamber of Commerce hosts Home for the Holidays. And, of course, a very special guest is on his way to town.
Festivities kick off Friday night. Santa will be at Edward Jones (502 Main St.) for photos between 4-5:30 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. At 5:45 p.m. you are invited to the City Hall lawn for holiday singing with Main Street News. Then at 6, Mayor Robert Dolan lights the City Hall Christmas Tree. You will then take the short walk down Main Street toward the YMCA to await Santa's estimated 6:30 arrival. There will be free hot chocolate while you wait.
Then, if you can't make it to Gillette Stadium for Melrose's morning Super Bowl game Saturday, you've got a great day in store. Fairs, performances, specials, and tastings are among the weekend celebrations. Holiday trolleys will run from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. through the shopping districts. See the trolley map below!
