Melrose Memorial Day Parade, Schedule 2017

See the lineup for this weekend's festivities.

MELROSE, MA – This year's Melrose Memorial Day Parade will honor all veteran, but particularly Gulf War era veterans. Veterans from that period are invited to march in the Grand Marshal's section of the section.

The parade is being held Sunday, not Monday. Floats and cars are assembling in front of Memorial Hall at 12:30 p.m.; all other participants at 1. The parade begins at 1:30, traveling down Main Street to the Wyoming Cemetery on Sylvan Street.

"This parade is our annual remembrance of all the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our country, as well as our living veterans and those who are currently serving," said Mayor Rob Dolan. "I hope everyone will participate, either by marching or by coming to watch the parade and pay tribute to our veterans."
