Melrose Police Logs: Kids Egging Houses, Shopping Carts

MELROSE, MA—Here are some excerpts from the Melrose Police Logs from March 14-17.

Monday:

12:18 p.m.: A caller reported kids throwing eggs at houses. Police summoned a 19-year-old male on charges of malicious destruction of property under $250.

Tuesday:

10:13 a.m.: A man walked into the Melrose Police station to report check fraud.

1:27 p.m.: Police assisted a man who felt he was followed home from Oak Grove train station.

1:45 p.m.: A man is concerned that shopping carts are being left in the area by kids as a joke.

Wednesday:

8:01 p.m.: A caller reported an assault in the vicinity of 60 Circuit St.

Thursday:

2:14 p.m.: Police summoned Erin Guiney, 37, of Scituate for leaving the scene of property damage after a hit and run accident.
