Melrose Police Logs: Milk Gallons, Shoplifting

MELROSE, MA—The Melrose Police Department had a busy week. Here are some excerpts from the Melrose Police Logs from March 7-9.

March 7:

12:33 p.m.: Stoneham Police put out a BOLO for a shoplifting suspect of Walgreens in Stoneham. All units were advised.

02:56 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a possible domestic with parties on Main St. in Melrose. They later discovered that it was a verbal argument.

7:10 p.m. A walk-in party reported a stolen bicycle.

8:07 p.m.: Police received reports on youths on the train tracks throwing eggs. Police checked the scene and did not find anyone.

8:12 p.m. Police received a report of someone throwing a full gallon of milk at a motor vehicle. The vehicle was damaged.

March 8:

12:45 p.m.: Police found the missing bicycle from Monday.

5:29 p.m.: Police received reports of a man walking back and forth on the sidewalk by stores looking confused. The man may have urinated himself. He was located and brought back home.

March 9:
4:02 p.m. Police arrested Michael Talluto for assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, threat to commit crime and vandalizing property.
