MELROSE RESIDENT APPOINTED NEW AREA DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT FOR LIBERTY TREE MALL AND SQUARE ONE MAL

Simon Property Group Inc., the global leader in retail real estate ownership, management and development, announced today a promotion: Marina Iannaco has assumed the position of Area Director of Marketing & Business Development at Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers, Mass. and Square One Mall in Saugus, Mass.

In this role, Iannaco will be responsible for all business development, advertising, public relations, events, and marketing efforts including digital marketing and social media channels for the shopping centers. She will oversee the marketing staff, plan and execute strategic sales plans, marketing plans and operations budgets, and address property issues and opportunities that enhance tenant, community and media relations while increasing center sales.

Iannaco has been with Simon for nine years and most recently served as the Area Director of Marketing & Business Development for Auburn Mall and Greendale Mall in Central Massachusetts. Prior to that she served as the Assistant Director of Marketing in Training at The Shops at Chestnut Hill. Iannaco holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the School of Communications and Journalism at Suffolk University. She currently resides in Melrose.
