National Grid Work Creating Melrose Detours

National Grid work in Melrose is impacting access to Tremont Street.

For the next two or three weeks, the company is updating gas lines on Tremont between Lynn Fells Parkway and Lake Avenue. Detours are expected.

The City Yard & Recycling Center will remain open during, though access to the street may be restricted

On Tuesday, vehicles can get there from West Emerson Street, but not from Lynn Fells Parkway.
