• Wakefield Arts & Crafts Society Begins 2026-2027 Season (thereadingpost.com) — Residents from Melrose are invited to join the Wakefield Arts & Crafts Society, which is kicking off its 2026–2027 season and hosting a Free Guest Day on October 6. The group meets monthly on Tuesday mornings, offers free craft workshops, discounted supplies, and seasonal activities, and already includes members from Melrose and other nearby communities.
